While I see the benefit of allowing for ratings without text (“stars only”), I propose to nudge people (probably in the "Thank you" page) to leave a reason on why they chose this rating, or even urge them to comment on what should be improved if the rating is not “good”.

593 might make more sense than star ratings themselves. I agree that ratings without comments is frustrating. Perhaps a simple :+1: is easier when the reviewer includes no text. I don't want to take this off-topic, but do want to mention it in case it gets internal discussion happening.
