improve UX for setting repetition of events #4052

Steps to reproduce

  1. create new event
  2. in "details" tab, scroll to the bottom
  3. it says repetition "never"
  4. be confused about how to set repetition
  5. click on never
  6. dropdown shows "never" and "day"

Expected behavior

more options should be visible without clicking, or at least after clicking the dropdown

in general, usability of the repetition setting should be better, not sure how

(it used to be a little bit better when repetition had its own tab, but even then it was not ideal)

confusion. I have seen multiple coworkers struggling with the interface:

This is still a problem in 3.3.2

I have seen users not understanding how to repeat events, this needs to be improved
