Calendar jumps to today when creating new entry #6361

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to calendar
  2. Move to daily view and a date in the future
  3. Open the left sidebar
  4. Click on new event

Expected behavior

A new event can be created. The date of the event defaults to the current date as visible in the background.

Actual behaviour

The background jumps to today and the new appointment is also on today by default.

I'd like to second this bug, it's still active on my self hosted nextcloud instance too.
