Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

The shortcut CTRL-DEL usually deletes a word right of the cursor position; however in NC calendar it will delete the whole appointment. I accidently delete appointments when editing title, location, description, whatever & then (subconciusly) use CTRL-DEL :-(

What browser / OS?

That key sequence doesn't do anything at all for me editing an appointment.

Seeing this on

Ubuntu 24.10 / Firefox / Chromium
Fedora 42 / Firefox
Windows 10 / Firefox / Chromium / Chrome / Edge
Windows 11 / Firefox / Chrome / Edge

It does not make a difference whether simple editor (appearing as side pane) or popup-editor is used.

To reproduce:

Add an appointment - save it & close editor
Click on the appointment > click on edit
Put cursor in any of the text input fields (eg description)
press CTRL-DEL -> appointment gets deleted
