Store sorting order per user and not per browser #1481

I prefer to sort my contacts by "Last name". Once selected, on next login it will remain on "Display name". Is there a way to fix this? Since is anoying since contacts first app-release. That would be nice. Thank you.

Hey! Have you disabled local storage?

This is a feature in your browser. What browser are you using? This allows us to store session-related data. That is how we store this setting. So if you disabled it or if your browser doesn't support it, you will not get saved sorting option :)

I'm using different systems ... Isn't it possible to set "last name" to default? Can I edit a value in a php-file for that?

Ah, this is what you mean. This is not saved on your nextcloud config. But per browser.
