Hi, I was looking for a software to help me manage my food storage, and I was wondering if you ever though about adding it to the cookbook plugin.

Idea behind this is to keep track of food characteristics like
and maybe relate them to existing recipes in a form of suggestions.

ability to add food name, expiration dates, quantities and storage location
maybe use some sort of barcode scanning to easily add/remove groceries
keep track of groceries about to expire and warn users
provide some suggestions based on storage and recipes

As the OP of #2433 @0uro is understanding of a fuller process. Originally I was looking at 'what you could do with what you have' @0uro has reflected where I would like to go! Knowing what is where and how long it will last.

So combined a truly managed pantry, a simplified shopping list based on which ingredients you already have. Then a method of ensuring that you use all ingredients by the sell by date. No waste.

I know there are others but 'stock rotation', 'use by date' and 'what I have in stock'. Are the most important to help ensure no waste!
