Deck app does not update/refresh the project attachments/linking #2485

I have the following issue with the deck app. Probably a bug Steps to replicate it:

  1. go to deck app
  2. choose a card
  3. choose option: “Add to a project”
  4. choose option: Link to a file ==> The file is now correctly displayed and linked
  5. But…If you leave the deck app and open other apps, then return to the deck app and open the same card, the link to the file will not be displayed

==> If you refresh the page (F5) the link will be displayed again.

  1. If the board is shared and edit rights are assigned, the person with whom the board is shared cannot see the link in the card and also not when the page is reloaded. Not even if the file or folder has been shared previously. This point seems to be a bug…or is not yet supported (??)

I have tested this with current browsers (MSEdge/Firefox/Chrome). Looks the same everywhere.

Have you been able to reproduce the issue at try.nextcloud.com? (Password is demo of it isn't prefilled)

This could give us a hint about whether the problem might be at the hosters side or at the Deck app.

I am currently trying it out on try.nextcloud.com

I can attach the pdf. It will not be displayed, just like in our network. After refreshing the page (F5) the PDF is displayed. Addition: Through my client the linked file is usually displayed directly,...sometimes not, only after (F5)

However, I can't display the "deeper" bug in this constellation. For this, another person would have to be logged in with whom I can share the board. In our network, the person with whom the board was shared can not see the file link even after multiple reloads and thus can not access it.

Noticed issues in seeing attachments (even though the card had a document/image attached). The workaround found is connected to the ‘Open in bigger view’ and ‘Open in sidebar view’ options. Below are the steps that worked so far:

  1. When selecting a card that has an attachment but is not showing, the first step is to go to ‘Open in bigger view’.
  2. A separate window with the card details will open and the attachment should become visible. Select ‘Open in sidebar view’ to go back to the previous window view from step 1.
  3. From this point, you can select any of the view types, depending on your preferences. The attachment of the card should be visible anytime, after switching from ‘Open in bigger view’ to ‘Open in sidebar view’ for the first time.
