Best solution I've found it to create an App Password in settings/user/security
on your server.
You should then be able to pass it using -p
on the command line.
This does not appear to work, it works for the cli but I want to be able to log in to the continuous-sync gui application.
Same here. To further describe the issue, every time I open nextcloud it
keepassxc helps with entering the credentials, but still, not very convenient. Would be great if it was launch and go. Maybe it could use my ssh key to log in?
It would be great to have something in the nextcloud.cfg file like "password_command" so that one could fetch the password from wherever like pass which uses GPG to store encrypted passwords.
Hi,
I have tried and failed to find a way of providing the password to the nextcloud linux client via command line or something similar. Is there any way to do this? I do not use gnome keyring but have a more custom solution for password management.
