So this looks lot a lot like #3196. Can you have a look at it and check that the solution exposed there also work for you ?
i already checked that. There are no .rmlock or .lock or other strange files in the config folder. My log file is also different from the one in that issue.
I have the same issue and I've also tried cleaning out the registry of any Nextcloud entries but it still just hangs.
In addition to the issue posted, explorer would refuse to respond unless I force close nextcloud. Restarting it doesn't work as nextcloud will still run in the background but not responding despite the icon missing from the task bar.
Now i have the same problem on my desktop pc. Steps to reproduce:
i dont even need to reboot my pc. restarting the client is enough. when i delete the config file inside Appdata/Roaming then it starts up again (but i have to reconfigure everything). At least it restarts normally when i dont add a folder for syncing.
This bug report did not receive an update in the last 4 weeks. Please take a look again and update the issue with new details, otherwise the issue will be automatically closed in 2 weeks. Thank you!
This bug report is getting automatically closed due to no answer since the issue has been staled. Thank you!
Expected behaviour
Client starting normally after reboot
Actual behaviour
I can install and configure the client, but after a reboot of my notebook the client doesnt start and hangs indefinitely. it uses ~30% of my CPU and the explorer is really slow while the client is hanging:
i can get the client to work again, when i delete the config file in Appdata Roaming (nextcloud.cfg), but then i need to reconfigure the client.
When the client is hanging the symbol in the tray is grey and i cant click on it.
On my normal desktop pc everything works fine. This only occurs on my notebook. On my notebook i connected the client using the public url instead of my private ipv4 as on my desktop pc.
Everytime i restart the client it doenst get further than "Adding user defined ignore list" in the logs.
