Expected behaviour

Should remember sync statuses of existing local files after installing the Nextcloud client on the computer.

Actual behaviour

Some files are not deemed synched and the client tries to redownload from the server.

Judging from the log, it is perhaps related to the Asian characters in path(s), or perhaps due to I manually checked them after "confirmation before syncing folders larger than", but I'm not strictly sure either it happens if so or only if so.

FWIW I think it is the same problem I face every update: https://github.com/nextcloud/desktop/issues/2279#issuecomment-688564572, except this time it persists after simple resync or restart, so that I was able to get the log.

Steps to reproduce

robocopy "\\old-computer\nextcloud" "\\new-computer\nextcloud" /MIR /COPY:DAT /R:0 /W:0 /LOG+:\\new-computer\logfile.txt /NP /NDL /TEE /XJD /XJF /L
Install Nextcloud client on the new computer
Connect to the server, sync all, keep local files
Start sync

Client configuration

Client version: 3.2.4 (Windows)

Operating system: Windows 10 64bit 20H2

OS language: Japanese

Qt version used by client package (Linux only, see also Settings dialog):
