This is the same problem as the old issue: #5925 It seems that the current version on Windows still has major problems.

Same issue here, also Windows 11 22H2, can't find libcrypto-1_1-x64.dll etc.

Hi. A solution has already been found.

  1. uninstall Nextcloud
  2. restart PC (no idea why, but Nextcloud wants it that way)
  3. reinstall Nextcloud

Because of the data in %APPDATA% Nextcloud does not need to be reconfigured.

In the new package all files are now correct.

So the point is not to update Nextcloud but to reinstall it.

See here: #5925 and #5924

Quicker Aussie "fix" - run "Repair" under Programmes and Features on Nextcloud client :-)

If I download windows client 3.9 from website, I can install and execute, but then it shows a popup and inform there is an upgrade to 3.9.1

If I accept and restart, the client 3.9.1 can not start because of lack of crypto DLLs
