Hi there, i am using Nextcloud Desktop-Client 3.12.1 on PopOS 23.10 (GNOME 43 or 44). When using the Client in dark mode:

it seems that the Nextcloud client gets the background color from the GNOME environment, but not the font color, so in dark mode it looks like this:

...wich is kind of annoying not to be able to read anything here.

it would be awesome to have the font color corrected here.

Thanks a lot!

Hi, I have the same issue, but this effect is even more drastic for error messages which are white on yellow, so not readable at all.

nextcloud_bug

Personally I would consider this as a bug, because it is not even visible that there should be an error which one could see if the dark mode is disabled.

I am on Ubuntu Mate 22.04 LTS.

Despite the bug, thanks for the great work :-)

For me part of the font and graphics are not readable at all, independent of display mode (dark or bright). Pictures of my situation in the nextcloud help forum: https://help.nextcloud.com/t/desktop-client-broken-on-gnome/184571/7?u=geraldco

Hm, it does not change anything for me. Nextcloud was installed via Flatpak tho. Any Other idea?
