Can confirm this behaviour, this also affects the whole UI:
@JWandscheer I think this is fixed now. Can you confirm this? It didn't happen to me for a long time now, probably not since the 3.14.0 update. Or it was macOS Sequoia?
Unfortunately not. I'm on Sonoma 15.0.1 and Nextcloud VFS 3.14.0 the icon gets scrambled again. I think there is a relation to external displays because it seems to happen more often when i disconnect my MacBook from a docking station with external Full-HD displays.
But the Settings-UI doesnt seem to get scrambled, maybe this is fixed.
This screenshot i took just now:
Not for me, I always use a 4K external display, but I never switch to the internal one. So the MacBook is always connected to a docking station. Haven't seen this icon scrambled either since 3.14.0 or Sequoia.
Bug description
Nextcloud icon on macOS status bar becomes scrambled, most of the time after a change in network connection, like connecting to or disconnecting VPN (Wireguard) to my workplace. But synching still works.
Steps to reproduce
Not always the case:
Having been connected for some hours with VPN and then disconnect (or vice versa), then this shows up:
Often (not always) the Nextcloud icon on macOS status bar becomes scrambled. I usually do a
sudo killall Nextcloud
and then start it again. Then the icon in status bar comes back up like it should:
Expected behavior
I know this is a minor issue, but I expect the icon in the macOS status bar to not become scrambled when changing networks. client_log.zip
