When an admin creates a group folder, he cat setup some default permissions :
But when a user with admin rights wants to add other permissions, he can't see these default permissions :
It makes it difficult to administer : after some time, you don't remember what the basic permissions were. And if your admin user is different from your every-day-user (which is my case), you have to log out and in to check the settings of the GF.
It would be great to have this information on the Share panel.
An easy way to work around this issue is to just allow everything in the default permissions and use only ACL for the access management (also in the root directory). That way people see what permissions are set.
