I was uploading 23k items and it takes a very long time to start (I guess it builds the list first). I disabled screen lock, turn the brightness to minimum and left it on the charger over night. It was uploading in the morning.
I have same setup. Only difference is server OS. I am running linuxserver/nextcloud under Unraid.

Thanks for a tip. I'll give it a shot. There should be at least some progress bar or something to indicate it is not stuck.
I am not in the process details, but available memory could be a problem. Which devices were used?
Steps to reproduce
Expected behaviour
I hoped it will upload photos in smaller batches. But I get it might be complex, as a workaroud I'd accept better image picker when uploading, at least more elements on screen, so I could select more photos at once, or select whole month at once. I don't mind going throught that process. But I have 25K items in my phone over the years and it would take forever to go throught everything and select one by one. Please add at least a better image picker.
Actual behaviour
Backup never starts uploading anything
Screenshots
Just loading popup on settings screen.
Logs
Reasoning or why should it be changed/implemented?
I consider this an absolute neccessity to enable smooth transfer from one cloud to another.
