Same issue
I have the same issue except, in the Nextcloud folder in the files app, I see one file named “communication” of 128KB in size. It appears to be the mobile app’s logfile.
Is there any way to make the files integration work?
more than 9 month open and still this issue is not fixed with the current versions. Any information on that from the developers would be highly appreciated!
I am having same issue. I only see Communications file in the Nextcloud folder in the files app. I have tried deleting the nextcloud app and reinstalling it but no go. Would appreciate a response.
Even if Files integration is enabled in the app I had to turn it on in the Files app too. While on the locations list, tap the 3 dots, then edit, and turn it on. That worked for me.

Perfect thanks. That did the trick.
the tip from @saghul worked for me too, thanks!
But it think this should be either done automatically by the nextcloud app or there should be a hint to do this when starting the nextcloud app first so I leave the ticket open
Any news on this issue?
I'm facing the same now on ios 17.4.1 and nextcloud for ios 5.2.3.2.
Event disabling and reenabling the integration in the default app solve.
@saghul Oh my god, you are so right, and this is exactly the point I keep forgetting every time I upgrade device! Thanks for posting. Blame lies with iOS here, then. I suppose it would be great if NC could implement something in onboarding for this, or at least a text in the footer of the advanced settings? Perhaps I should implement it myself...
