Change filename mask #2977

Steps to reproduce

In 5.4.1 the file name is changed automatically. I find this disastrous when the file name differs from the original. Why can't this at least be switched off?

Expected behaviour

It should be configurable so that the original name is retained

Actual behaviour

Tell was what instead happens.

I don't understand what do you mean ? You can go in settings - advanced and change the filename mask

A recent update seems to have moved the change file name mask to a different location in the menu.

Additionally it also turned off my set preference for the file name mask. I find this unacceptable behavior. If I set a preference it should be honored.

I'll now have to go fix all the uploaded photos with the wrong file name which will cost time I do not have or want to spend on changing file names.

We are very sorry, but we had to streamline and simplify the interface, especially for those who are not very experienced. However, the current settings do not change the file name mask.
