How many accounts do you have configured and do you use aliases?
I have two IMAP accounts in the email app. But the undesired own email address in replyAll response, is the same as the one used by the original sender. There is no mixing with my second account. Aliases are not configured.
I have not been able to trigger this myself yet.
This is how it looks for me after replyAll. The emailadress of the oringial recipient is the sender and receiver of the response:
This happens to me always when the message was sent to the alias, but not if it's sent to the default address. I only have one imap account with one alias.
Same issue here when using an alias
What is the alias? Is this something that belongs to my email address or a configuration in Nextcloud mail app?
It's configured at the mailserver, for example if your email is jdoe@nevernever.land then you could also have an email address john.doe@nevernever.land as an alias (not being a second account).
i can reproduce this with both scenarios, with and without aliases
Steps to reproduce
Expected behavior
You dont want to answer to yourself. ReplyAll should reply to all except yourself.
Actual behavior
ReplyAll is replying to all recipients including yourself. This is like sending a postcard to yourself. You will see the message in sent and inbox email folder.
