How many accounts do you have configured and do you use aliases?

godfuture commented 2 years ago

I have two IMAP accounts in the email app. But the undesired own email address in replyAll response, is the same as the one used by the original sender. There is no mixing with my second account. Aliases are not configured.

ChristophWurst commented 2 years ago

I have not been able to trigger this myself yet.

godfuture commented 2 years ago

This is how it looks for me after replyAll. The emailadress of the oringial recipient is the sender and receiver of the response: NewEmailAfterReplyAll

thstyl2000 commented 2 years ago

This happens to me always when the message was sent to the alias, but not if it's sent to the default address. I only have one imap account with one alias.

Same issue here when using an alias

godfuture commented 1 year ago

What is the alias? Is this something that belongs to my email address or a configuration in Nextcloud mail app?

thstyl2000 commented 1 year ago

It's configured at the mailserver, for example if your email is jdoe@nevernever.land then you could also have an email address john.doe@nevernever.land as an alias (not being a second account).

GretaD commented 1 week ago

i can reproduce this with both scenarios, with and without aliases
