I'd appreciate if we first have a definition of what "world wide" means. Because basically I suspect that if we go that route everybody will just claim they have world wide services. In which case this is kinda silly ;-)
With a country I can at least assume that they have a direct affiliation to that somehow.
Totally true. Perhaps we should simply skip worldwide. Or give a choice between specific countries OR worldwide?!?
It is true that it is a bit strange. We said that we serve worldwide but our servers are in Germany. Actually if a client requests us to serve from there country, if they pay, we would operate it. (We had a project to ship RasPi in Africa, and serve from there also, but never got through).
I decided to say yes as a provider because we can speak english, and serve close to your place on request.
So the providers page offers a nice filter where you can pick providers who service your country. But quite a few aim to service globally (this is the Internet, after all) and thus we have a 'all' country flag (I stole the UN flag for that).
This works as an option (which is silly) but worse, if you pick 'de' or 'us' you don't see the global providers. And you should! I just have no clue how to make that happen. It's jquery and probably not hard for somebody who knows a bit of javascript... But it is far beyond me. Help out!
