Many users have reported issues with the new rich text editor or simply prefer the old one. On GitHub and on the App Store users point out that the legacy editor is faster and more reliable. Also, some users (including myself) prefer the native implementation of a Markdown-style editor.
So I added a setting, just like the web app has. With these changes it is possible to switch back to the legacy editor. Still defaults to the new rich text editor though.
