Sync incomplete #299

Snyc is VERY incomplete. Only 6 contacts synced with 8 messages and all the messages are over 7 months old.

There should be many more contacts with the last message being a day ago.

It appears the Nextcloud SMS app is picking up the Android SMS app and not Signal. Note that Signal is set as the default app. How do I make Nextcloud SMS read Signal as the SMS app?

Are those real SMS messages in your Signal app or are they sent over Signal directly? In the past Signal used SMS but then they built up their own infrastructure to send messages. The old app was forked into Silnece (https://silence.im/).

Anyway, messages sent over Signal cannot be synced with this app (or rather the Android companion app to be precise), only SMS that are stored in the SMS storage of Android are supported. Here you can get more information on this issue:
