Just installed the android app through F-droid. Sync appears to be successful however this error is appearing in a notification on my phone.

delumerlino commented 8 years ago

Thanks @nerzhul. I don't understand why this error even if the messages are correctly synced in the oc_sms page.

i need to update app, but i miss some time i'm working on different free projects. I have some plans for owncloud SMS. Maybe i wil lwork on it this week. The problem you mention need a patch, fast

olaulau commented 8 years ago

I'm affected too. having many messages too (19500). the server is powerful and internet connection fast. the web app sends notification saying I've 19500 unread messages, and the phone has a notification with error#9. then it restarts to sync like this in loop. all messages seems to have been synchronized with owncloud. edit : I see a lot of activity on the MariaDB server (mostly SMS delete)

@nerzhul You said you will fix this several times for the past 6 months now. Please don't make the user pay for something you don' t have time to fix or update frequently.

nerzhul commented 8 years ago

@enoch85 i released a version last week which permit to sync message with a limitation per update. @olaulau what application version did you use ? 0.19.X is better for a so huge amount of messages

olaulau commented 8 years ago

android app : owncloudSMS 0.18.5 from f-droid. where can I get 0.19.x build ? can you push it to f-droid ?

nerzhul commented 8 years ago

@olaulau i don't maintain f-droid, someone else does it but i don't know who is this

animalillo commented 8 years ago

@nerzhul maybe you should publish your own ocsms build? or get someone to maintain an ocsms build that you can contact and tell to push a new version?

Hey, I have the same issue since I upgraded to Ubuntu 16.04 with PHP 7 and MySQL 5.7. I installed the app from Google Play.

I have not tried to reinstall everything. But just letting you know @nerzhul that this issue exists on a cutting edge install (server) as well.

nerzhul commented 7 years ago

This issue is now gone since many recent changes
