To find a good default for everyone is difficult. Why not using silent mode in the night to get a good sleep and see notifications in the morning whenever you wake up?

Oh sorry, I thought this was a category where we could suggest enhancements, when it's actually a place I get unsollicited recommendations on how to use my devices from people who don't know my usages
Hello @Kalytis,
I meant that in a friendly way and as a tip, not to annoy you.
Back to the topic: Should each user then have a setting to set a time for notifications for themselves?
I think every usere should be able to define the reminder settings for birthdays himself.
One user don't want any reminder to birthdays at all, on wants them in the morning (like me) others in the afternoon.
There even should be an option to disable the reminder for single contacts [no, deleteing the birthday is not an option :) ]
See #33251 and #33397 (part of #1505)

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I only use this calendar to keep track of birthdays I care about, and I hate to be woken up by a birthday notification at midnight.
Describe the solution you'd like Adding a default notification time at 8 AM, possibly giving a choice for the user to set a custom notification time.
Describe alternatives you've considered Completely disabling the birthday notifications, with the risk of missing birthdays.
Thanks by advance
