[Bug]: Getting warning "token does not exist" when recovering password #49186

Bug description

When I try to set up the new password I am constantly getting warning "token does not exist".

Steps to reproduce

Click Forgot password
Click link from the email
Input new password
Observe the message "token does not exist"

Expected behavior

The password should be recovered accurately after a user inputs the new one.

Happens on our NC 29.0.7 / PHP 8.3 install as well. When it happens, the password is changed though....
