What happend to GNUSocial & maybe add Mastodon?

In this older article there is actually a picture that showed this plugin working with GNUSocial: https://www.schiessle.org/articles/2016/07/04/history-and-future-of-cloud-federation/

But I don't remember that being ever available? Would be nice to have it included again though :)

Cool would be also Mastodon support via ActivityPub.

Great that someone has thought of it. I would also like to have an interface for Mastodon.
