keyboard control of video playback not working reliably #2604

to reproduce

  1. in a talk room that has videos shared (e.g. call recordings), go to sidebar > shared items > click on a video
  2. keyboard controls don't work (probably because video is not in focus?)
  3. click pause button in video, click full screen
  4. keyboard controls sometimes work and sometimes don't
