Hey @Espina2 @jospoortvliet

Currently this is a first draft to move this forward.

The idea:

All the metadata should be put into the markdown. Something like header images or open graph details - see the first lines of https://github.com/nextcloud/website/blob/master/content/blog/2016-08-25-file-access-control-a-firewall-for-your-private-files-in-nextcloud.md (this file was extracted with a Wordpress to hugo tool, that fetched this from the database. I try to put everything else also in. The main pages hold so many custom HTML that we will basically need to write this not as markdown but as HTML, which is possible. I copied for example the landing page and provided it in https://github.com/nextcloud/website/blob/master/content/_index.md

All the other sites should also live in there. Best would be to do as much as possible in markdown and use HTML if this is not easily possible.

Unfortunately anddon't get me wrong but I am not volunteering for anything here. Please accept my apologies for the intrusion as I found this only coincidently while looking for a drop-in for comments on the actual NC docs website. Flying away ...

I'm too busy to take on anything large scale at the moment but I can take a look at this in the future. Almost all my websites are made with Hugo so I am pretty familiar with it.
