No puedo hacer funcionar a la aplicación Welcome

Hola. He instalado y habilitado la aplicación Welcome en Nextcloud 20.0.10 pero no veo que funcione al momento del login, es decir, no muestra el archivo seleccionado. No me ofrece tampoco cargar archivos que no tengan extensión md (por ejemplo readme.md). Adjunto imagen al respecto. En la carpeta mostrada hay archivos de imágenes pero no están visibles para poder seleccionarlos.

The file type is restricted because the content of the welcome widget must be written in markdown. So your screenshot seems normal to me :grin:.

Here is how the app works:

• Write a markdown file (with the Text app for example)
• Select this file in the settings
• Optionally set the default dashboard layout as explained in the project's Readme. This only works with Nextcloud >= 21.
• With NC < 21 (or for users having already set a custom dashboard layout), you have to enable the welcome widget in the dashboard.

Is it clearer now?

Hello, I am communicating again because I have not managed to get the widget to work. The version of Nextcloud that we have running at the moment is 20.0.10. The widget is enabled on the dashboard and linked to a file generated with the application but it is not activated on the login screen. Obviously I am missing a step that I do not understand. I would appreciate some indication in this regard. I attach images.

Hi team, I managed to make it work but the file is also loading in the same widget information that I didn't write in my .md file, such as "Bienvenue", "talk to support", etc... How do I remove that? Thank you

@mleikin-gh I am not sure what you mean by that. If the widget is enabled on the dashboard and shows up there, then that is the intended behaviour and the functionality of the app. If it does not, you have not selected a markdown file from the Theming admin settings. (see)

@ehquionest The "Welcome" title on the widget can be changed but cannot be disabled. On the other hand, "talk to support" can be removed if you remove the "support contact" from the Theming admin settings.
