I have exactly the same problem, when I create a file and work on multiple versions and then want to open any of the versions it always gives me a 404 error.
I leave here the technical data of my instance Nextcloud AIO.

Nextcloud version: 30.0.2 - 30.0.2.2
My colleagues and I have encountered 404 error when clicking on previous versions of the file in the right sidebar under "Versions".
When using a Nextcloud Office document, for instance, clicking on the old version of the file opens the file.
Whiteboard version 1.0.4, Nextcloud 30.0.1
