try adding it via usual WMS dialog and repeat the same
If it still crashes - this is not QMS issue.
My version of QMS also crashed. When add OSM Standard. Counting from 1 to 20. In 20 is out of qgis. No error messages. Using Linux Mint 18.1 64 bits, Qgis 2.14.12 and QMS 0.18.4.
I deleted all Qgis, grass, saga, scipy and depedencies with purge. Re-installed and crashed the same.
Another system with Linux Mint 18.1 32 bits, same 2 GB ram is running very well.
What could I do?
I have similar problem using Ubuntu 16.04, qgis 2.18.7, qms 0.18.5. To reproduce: Open a new qgis project QMS >OSM-> OSM standard - loads OK Project Properties -> enable On the Fly CRS transformation select CRS -> Apply - QGIS crashes Alternatively: Open a new qgis project Project Properties -> enable On the Fly CRS transformation select CRS -> OK QMS >OSM-> OSM standard - layer name loads _ QGIS crashes.
Would be grateful for any thoughts on how to proceed
I confirm the crash. Just tried: 1 - load OSM standard 2 - remove the layer from TOC while tiles are loading 3 - QGIS exception (because of QT C++ wrappers)
If I try again QGIS crashes with core dump
these are all seem like a different scenarios
@giohappy are you using native renderer or QMS' one? Version of QGIS? OS?
@simgislab QMS OSM Standard service, QGIS 2.18.7, Windows 10
native renderer or QMS one?
Settings\Tiles, Use native renderer - ON or OFF?
I've tested with QMS 0.18.1 and that setting wasn't still available. I will try to test it with the new version (0.18.7)
@simgislab I've upgraded QSM. Tested with QSM renderer (I have to upgrade QGIS to test with native one). 1 - load OSM standard 2 - remove the layer from TOC while tiles are loading (loading hangs because of a fake proxy configuration) 3 - QGIS freeze and I've to kill it
With QGIS 2.18.12 everything works fine, both with native and QSM renderer, No freeze, no crash.
closing it then
Hi QGIS crashes when doing these steps:
Start QGIS Web - QuickMapServices - Rosreestr - Basemap While waiting for the layer to show, remove it from the layer pane QGIS now opens a new empty window, "qgis-bin" and then crashes
Win 7 64 bit QGIS 2.14.0 64 bit
