The geodesics look good for intercontinental stuff but are essentially straight lines for smaller distances. I think we should use custom curves where (similar to gytis' work) curvature is inversely proportional to distance.
Additionally, transmissions from A-B and B-A currently overlap, whereas they should be flipped / curved in different directions.
