Kickoffs #7

There seems to be a sentiment in RLGym that you can train a good bot with poor kickoffs, or a bot with good kickoffs that plays poorly. Why is that? Is there something that we can do about it?

being the second player to hit the ball seems to be optimal for some reason, this result in the model going slower and slower on the kickoff. a specially shaped kickoff reward might help with this

My thought was "first agent with possession outside a certain radius away from kickoff" would be a reasonable metric. Of course excluding a goal happening
