Currently, the NXenvironment group is only cited in NXsample with two strictly defined group names #1148 i.e. temperature_env, magnetic_field_env.
It would be good to add the NXenvironment group also below the NXinstrument group. This allows us to describe general environment physical quantities not strictly related to our sample, e.g. temperature in the hutch. It also make FAIRmat AD proposals e.g. https://fairmat-nfdi.github.io/nexus_definitions/classes/contributed_definitions/NXsensor_scan.html#nxsensor-scan more consistent to the current NeXus base classes.
