Hey, I’m marking meals done once they’re assembled and all their condiments are added to the cherry bag in the staging bin.

Note to self, update the rice pudding with home dried rice

We’re out of sriracha and soy sauce packets

THIS time around, we are taking 1360g (two quart bags) of trail mix for 5 days hiking, based on Ruth’s comment that I should try 2/3 the estimate from the PCT planning (which had resulted in way too much trail mix). 400g 5 2/3 = 1333.33g

(But I didn’t want to repack the bags to remove the extra 30g lol)

Ghee packets are 1.5 T if you’re making your own.

nfagerlund commented 2 months ago

Also, the narrower bag roll is best for packets, it divides neatly into 3.

Ghee hardens fast in the freezer. Sesame oil takes ages but becomes a stiff slush, have faith. Soy sauce is hopeless.

We ate all but 230g of trail mix, so, decent estimate.
