'Hidden' Markdown interpreter #61

Describe the bug More of a surprise. I manually added an abstract to a publication and noticed that parts of it were italicized. This was caused by gender asterisks (*) in the text being used as gender stars, which were interpreted via Markdown.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Create a Publication
  2. Enter an abstract containing multiple * manually
  3. Text is italicized

Expected behavior Since no formatting information was provided in the edit box, I expected the text to remain unformatted. Laymen of formatting will also use the LDH. Therefore, the existence of an interpreter needs to be indicated. I think it would be good not to interpret the text by default. Markdown can be enabled with a checkbox.

Descriptions and abstracts may contain markdown. Indeed - in crontrast to Description there is no formatting bar for abstracts shown. I will pass this request on to SEEK Development. Workaround: The problem "markdown and gender star" is well known on internet. Nutzerinnen and Expertinnen know that. Nutzer*innen and Expert*innen should place \ before the * .
