[Feature] Do not automatically close expanded sidebar element when expanding another element

Describe your problem I think it would be beneficial if expanded sidebar elements would stay expanded until a user actively closes them. The current behaviour automatically closes open elements when a new element is expanded. This makes it hard to explore the documentation.
