Do you ever introduce the term markdown? #9

Unless someone has experience with wikis or GitHub, they may not know what it is. I don't recall if you introduced it.

Related to this is the readme file concept in GitHub. Is that even important enough to ever mention? For example, what does it add to this sentence... "All of the content was organized into a calendar table made from Markdown, and it was visible on the home page of the course repository as a `readme' file."

That's a good point, I don't really ever mention Markdown again. I could just remove it.

I do think you refer to markdown when you're discussing supported file formats: Sec 4.3.1, 4.3.3, 5.5, 6.2
