updated the python module to api 1.0.1

@nfmcclure this should be the last notebook for Chapter 5. If the notebooks look good to you, I can continue with creating notebooks for another chapter. Just let me know.

While working on chapter 5, I thought of one possible enhancement to python modules and notebooks. It might be useful, where appropriate, to make the results reproducible by setting seed for psuedo-random number generation.

Hi @jimthompson5802 , Thanks so much for all the work! Yes, adding random seeds for the scripts that generate data or do random test-train splits would be wonderful.
