layerFactory root dir should be PORTAL_CONFIG_DIR/indicators - i.e. should not be configured separately in portal.properties #22

Is it still an open issue? According to last news, the directory structure should not be in use anymore.

Well, it may be in use as soon as there is some country I work with requiring statistics. We don't have an alternative yet.

Fernando can you kindly describe a bit more this issue? I think I misunderstood the meaning and I suggested a wrong thing to Alessio, sorry :)

Currently none of the countries I am working with provides statistics yet. However, if they calculate them somehow and want to provide them right now, the only way is to configure some XML files in this folder.

Indeed, Ecuador provided them, @sgiaccio may confirm since it was in the context of his support to Néstor, only that the team that took over the process removed them.

As soon as there is some other way to provide these statistics, this ticket can be removed, but so far it is still valid.
