API key malformed #2586

Getting this error while trying to upload images through API

"API Key is malformed or failed to parse" is because

an API key from https://app.nft.storage/login Is being used for https://classic.nft.storage/ SDK.

To use https://app.nft.storage/login, use the dashboard or the API linked from the dashboard docs. There is not an SDK yet.

the classis is having issues, where when i login it just takes me to the new one

is thier way to upload images in the new one, without a contract

Classic is not allowing any new registrations. Have you used Classic before?

The new version requires an additional step to content address the data before it's uploaded to NFT.Storage, that's because it's even more focused on the long-term preservation of NFTs, and is a more economically sustainable model for the longevity of NFT.Storage. To use the new version you will need to onboard your off-chain NFT to IPFS first to make it highly available so that it shows up on marketplaces and other platforms. There are five different ways of doing this, and each has a different degree of difficulty or ease of use. Hi I have this problem too and I am using https://app.nft.storage/ but it doesn't work and I get that error sskjlakjxyyehn

Hi Everyone -

"API Key is malformed or failed to parse" error is because an API key from https://app.nft.storage/login Is being used for

https://classic.nft.storage/ SDK. These are two different versions of the products and require API keys from the respective products.

To use https://classic.nft.storage/ , get an API key from https://classic.nft.storage/

To use https://app.nft.storage/ , get an API key from https://app.nft.storage/

If your issue is different, please create a new ticket and describe the issue in detail.
