fix: status api using node14 #81

Currently npm ci fails with latest npm version. Previously Digital Ocean was using node 12 (🤔) and everything was good, but now they finally updated to 16 and it fails.

pnpm is still not supported in DO, so it will use npm and fail due to non package-lock in root
