As per official guidance from Google, Angular 2 is now known as just Angular, and Angular 1.x is now widely referred to as AngularJS.
The current documentation makes multiple mentions to Angular meaning actually AngularJS, which can lead to confusion. This issue is meant to track those corrections as discussed in #478
There are also mentions to Angular 2 which could also be renamed for consistency (although there's no room for confusion with those).
