Cannot connect to store (Bonsai - Hosted Elasticsearch)

Hi, I am trying to create a new store in Geoserver using elasticgeo. My Elasticsearch is hosted on bonsai. Bonsai provide a unique URL designed for secure, authenticated access to an Elasticsearch cluster. This URL looks something like this:

https://a1b2c3d4e:5f6g7h8i9@somehost-1234567.region-x-y.bonsaisearch.net

The issue is i am unable to pass this url to elasticgeo.

I have tried splitting the url as described here

but that doesn't work either. Could you help me with this?

As mentioned in the other issue the new 2.14.2-RC1 release adds username/password support. Please try again with that version and see if you're able to connect with the user credentials.

@shahzadbacha Is this also resolved with the new release? Are you able to connect to the instance using username/password? In your example above I think the parameters would be as follows.

Sorry @sjudeng i got busy. Yes, i am now able to connect to bonsai with new release. Thank you so much for your support. But still there is one thing, i cannot see the elasticsearch index layers in Geoserver. Do you know what could be the problem?

Are you providing an index_name for an existing index that contain one more more mapping types? Or have you added been able to add the layer to GeoServer but you don't see any features in Layer Preview?

I have provided index name while making connection to elasticsearch (bonsai). This index have a geo_point type. but when i try to add layer, i can't see my layer in the store.

Store is successfully created

But there is no layer in the store to add

What version of Elasticsearch is it? Are you able to see mappings for the index (e.g. https://your.elasticsearch.host/your_index/_mapping?pretty).

I am running on Elasticsearch version 6.5.4. Yes i can see the mapping

Is the mapping visible for the user you're using to connect to the index with the plugin (e.g. https://a1b2c3d4e:5f6g7h8i9@somehost-1234567.region-x-y.bonsaisearch.net/your_index/_mapping)? Can you check the GeoServer logs to see if there are any errors or other relevant messages? Optionally update the logging level to DEBUG for the plugin (see logging config docs).

Yes, I can view the index mappings using URL like below;

http://host:81/postgresql.public.pois_v6/_mapping?pretty This is the result;

but when i put the index name in elasticgeo plugin like this;
