Is it possible to encode pdb and cif files in mmtf format? #575

Hi, is it possible within NGL?

I guess not: src/writer doesn't have an mmtf-writer class.

It also looks like there isn't a JS encoder (see the readme here: https://github.com/rcsb/mmtf/tree/v1.0) but there are java and python encoders/writers for server-side conversion.

Don't know if one day It will be available but It could be very useful for me.
