bonds not shown in ball and stick for large structures #1008

For large structures the bonds are not shown anymore. I tried to dig into this to find a solution but can't find it. Is there a parameter that sets the maximum number of atoms for which they are show maybe?

hi @hainm , I have the same problem with large structures. render in nglview:

render in VESTA:

cif file (please modify the extsions from txt to cif):
