Hebrew translation contains many incorrect strings #113

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Set the phone's locale to Hebrew.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The UI is displayed in syntactically and grammatically correct Hebrew, spelled
according to the proper rules of spelling without Niqud (כללי הכתיב
המלא חסר הניקוד).
While most of the application is translated to Hebrew, the translation contains
many errors: some grammatical and some syntactical.
I suspect that the translator(s), while doing admirable work, are not native
speakers, as it is customary for a translator to be.

What version of the product are you using? On what phone? What Android
version?
Version 1.1.4 system.
Erroneous strings also appear in recent CM sources.

Please provide any additional information below.

I've began editing the strings.xml file. The changes are quite large in scope,
and thus I want to first discuss them with the current translators, as to make
sure I won't simply replace the current mistakes with some of my own. Also,
creating a constant framework for translation would allow that to be a team
effort.

I couldn't find a better forum to discuss that; do let me know if I'm mistaken
and one exists.

The most common mistake is that sentences are translated word-by-word, instead
of as a whole, leading to grammatically incorrect languages, as Hebrew grammar
differs from the English one.

Other common errors are:
* The register is not constant. I believe formal register should be used.
* Direction setting Unicode characters are missing, causing incorrect alignment
of text containing both languages.
* Folder is spelled סיפריה instead of ספריה (Yod does not get added
if it is followed by a Shvah Nah).
* Screen is incorrectly translated to page (דף) instead of מסך.
* Application is transliterated instead of being translated to יישום.
* Same for icon (סמליל).
* The definiteness prefix (ה"א הידיעה) is missing in many places.
* The contiguity (Hebrew status construct) is often used incorrectly, most
commonly for plurals contiguity.

Can you please provide an attachment for the correct translations? It would
benefit everyone but I think the system versions of ADW are translated by CM
contributors. I could be wrong this though...
