Feature request herbe compatibility #450

Basically, make it compatible with herbe so I don't need inotifyd.

Its a less bloated option that I would totally appreciate having access to.

Actually, correction, just isn't feasible for me. but yeah more or less the same.

Yeah there hasn't had any recent activity because no one responded to me on this. Still would like this option!
