I think I've managed to reproduce an issue that seems to exist only on Android.
When the channel is set to 'Monitor Seasons: manual', adding a new show does not take the user to the selection screen, but in fact returns to the main channel menu. This results in no episodes/seasons being monitored in Sonarr.
I did exactly the same steps with Chrome on Windows 10, and the required process worked just fine. I am unable to test this via an IOS device but if you want me to I can do so with a friend's phone.
In order to reproduce the error I first tried a show with my LG Nexus 6 running 6.01, then immediately after I tried a different show with Chrome. Logs of the two processes attached:
