also add the graffle images etc into the lessons, along with the source
think about setting up a shared slack channel for workshop behind-the-scenes over at ucdavis slack
also think about how to support folks in later sessions with slack, or discord, or whatever.
add powerpoint slides somewhere; maybe on osf, link in?
might as well create the templates for the rest of the workshop soon :)

if someone wanted to take this on, it'd be great - I don't have any special permissions on the ucdavis.edu slack. It'd mostly be creating a channel and making sure pamela, nick, and the CFDE-ers all have access to the channel. doesn't need to be private, particularly? I guess it could be.

I have some names to add to that slack channel -
Michael Lewis mclewis@ucdavis.edu, Shanay Patel shpa@ucdavis.edu, Parwana Osmani posmani@ucdavis.edu Sergey Buduchin sbuduchin@ucdavis.edu
they are all from the hpc
Made a channel and added CFDE folks. If that looks ok, I will add the others. I don't have Pamela and Nick's email. Here's a share link (good for 14 days!): https://join.slack.com/share/zt-u3lehqhu-qumUOvBUOH4Ee2oZjS_tMw
put a license on the repo (CC0, hopefully, with an indication that a back link or a citation would be good) maybe flesh out the CFDE and DataLab intro slide(s) add github actions to the repo
