after a first pass by many --

I used streamlabs OBS and then recorded locally and uploaded to video.ucdavis.edu, which has good quality video.

the captioning really helped. so we need to figure out editing/correcting the captioning!

turn off recording for the interactive zoom calls! it makes people turn off video and disengage.

what jeremy wants: "vidlet + companion lesson + cheat sheet" to qualify this, it gives more flavors for a broader learner set... some folks will engage more with the videos, while some will favor the text... if they match up, perfect... then the user can go through the text and if they get stuck the video is there to demo the way through (or just fill in context and details)... the cheat sheet would just be a super nice tool for people to reference with a short-list of handy commands and call-outs that are mostly lesson specific... with these three in place, I think interactive sessions would be a smaller group of people who need/want the extra help...
